Elgin Program Assistant
As the Elgin Program Assistant, Dianna will provide direct support to the Elgin Program in the areas of community engagement, communications, grant administration, and office management.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Dianna worked in the Elgin community as the Community Outreach Liaison for Greater Elgin Family Care Center. During her five years there, she developed and strengthened partnerships with Elgin’s nonprofit organizations. Dianna graduated from UIC with a Masters in Public Health in 2010 and has over 10 years of experience working with nonprofit organizations in the areas of HIV prevention and education, women’s empowerment, and health care. Her background in public health informs her world view and the way she approaches her role in the community.
Dianna is currently the President of the Elgin Hispanic Network, a diverse network of nonprofit, business, and education leaders who work to improve the lives of Elgin’s Hispanic residents. Dianna is passionate about helping community members find their voice and empowering individuals in Elgin to play an active role in creating the community they want to live in.
Dianna is very excited to join our team and continue contributing to the positive development of the Elgin community.
